4in1

This wedding photo is not something I would want to scrapbook... unless I could fix it of course. I knew what I wanted to do to fix it, but it was gonna take another 3 pictures blended into this one to do it.

First of all, three of us are sitting. Not really working out so much... so I found a pic of mom standing (she was being walked down the aisle), tried to make it look like she had her arm behind her back, and put her in that way. I moved my SIL's up 'one step' to match with the boys on the other side, added my one SIL's 'back' from another photo someone else took (our photographer chopped her off when he took the pic), moved the boys closer in, took out one BIL who is no longer part of the family anyway (divorce... such a nasty thing)... it worked better with the scheme of things anyway to do so, and he's in another photo anyway. I 'moved' my nephew to stand with the BIL's. Moved dad over too. Then I added me and DH from another photo of us standing. Ok... I guess this is a 5 in one... 'cause I needed my skirt from somewhere as the photo of the two of us had someone sitting on it. Anyway, it took a REAL long time and a lot of work. I think it was well worth the effort. As usual, I faded the edges a bit too.

Not even the same photograph! I love black and white... it's so much easier to match other pics together!

Another Wedding Pic Edited

I've edited yet another wedding photo. This is one of my husband and his family. I could also move people closer together, but that will take so very long and I don't feel like doing so much work... so here's the first photo.

And the edited version. I moved everyone sitting 'up a stair' so to speak, got rid of the rug and walls (his cloth wasn't big enough... should have taken family pics without the cloth then, ah well), and faded the corners to soften it. What do you think?

Editing Wedding Pics

Well, I edited another of my wedding pics. Very similar to the last one. I have many more to edit, mostly just fading the edges and resizing them, some of them I want to mute the coloring so as to make them work a bit better with all the black and white photos. My entire ceremony is in black and white, so I'll have to make that work for me. Anyway, here is the pic I edited today.
First, the old picture...

And now, the edited version!

More Baby Pics

Here are some more fun pics I took and modified in Gimp. Mostly just fading the edges (the first one has no modifications) and picking out colors to keep while making the rest of the image black and white. I have some purple ones I want to do this to as well... later...

Enjoy!

More Baby Pics

I had some more fun with the camera again yesturday... and modified two of the pictures I took. All I did was soften the edges with white, mute the color, and add words.

My lil Angel

Well, I finally started working on a few more photos... this time of my sweet little girl. I had some fun with the camera yesturday after changing her into a different outfit (3-6month size, so a bit big but oh so cute...)... yeah, I took over 100 pics in about15 minutes, haha. Anyway, here are a few things I did with them.

I thought this picture was super cute, and decided I'd like to see it in black and white with only the red showing, so I did!

This one reminded me of trying to 'catch' something, so I edited the corner to make it white, softened the edges, and added some words in the corner. I love the 3D effect of the words... had no idea that what I was doing would do that! How? Made the words thicker, made them white, copied it and made those black, moved them 3 pixels down and left, blurred them, and then made the white layer 'soft light' instead of 'normal'.

This pic was just to cute. I decided she needed a halo as it looked kinda like she was about to pray. Yup, so I made a halo and added more words using the soft glow layer bit.

So, those are my pics... at least the ones that I modified.
